Action

Ocimum sanctum (tulasi ) is anti bacterial and expectorant. Ephedra Gerardiana (somlata) relieves breathing difficulty associated with asthmatic cough. Solanum Xanthocarpum (kantkari) is effective in treating breathlessness and cough in bronchial asthama. Adhatoda vasica (vasaka) is a broncho dilator and expectorant effective in cough, cold and chronic bronchitis. Alpinea Galanga (rasana) is effective in relieving bronchial catarrh. Pharangeal demulcent action of the herbs in the syrup soothes the irritated throat. The ingredients through their antitussive, mucolytic and anti histaminic actions relieve cough and cold and soothe the respiratory tract.

Indication

Cough and cold, cough associated with flu like symptoms.

Dosage

Adults – 1 to 2 teaspoonful 3 to 4 times daily
Children – ½ to 1 teasoonful 3 to 4 times daily.
