Composition
Each 100ml of oil contains :
Wrightia tinctoria (Roxb.)	R.Br	2.0% w/v
Hemisdesmus indicus	R.Br	0.5% w/v
Azadirachta indica	A.Juss	0.5% w/v
Base oil, Colour & Perfume	q.s.

Action

Tryptanthrin, an active constituent in Wrightia Tinctoria has anti psoriatic property through its immunomodulatory effect by Lypoxegenase inhibition mechanism.

The optimum concentration of the traditionally used Wrightia Tinctoria coupled with Hemidesmus indicus provides anti inflammatory, astringent and anti infective activity. The free radical scavenging activity of Hemidesmus indicus reduces Parakeratosis, Hyperkearatosis and Hyperplasia in psoriasis. Anti bacterial and antifungal activity of Azadirachta indica prevents itching and secondary infections in psoriasis.

The trinity of choice herbs collectively improves PASI index, PGA and DLQI in psoriasis by effectively tackling itching, inflamed patches, scaling, raised bumps, pustules, lesions, exfoliation and normalizing epidermal turn over and the skin texture.

Indications

Pustular and non Pustualar psoriasis, Inverse (flexural) psoriasis of the skin folds, Drug induced psoriasis flare up, seborrheic – like psoriasis and Napkin psoriasis, Eczema and other scaly disorders.

Direction for use

Apply Sisairosp oil liberally on the affected parts in the morning and expose to sunlight 10 to 15 minutes depending on the intensity of light. Wash off with hot water and preferably green gram powder avoiding soap or detergent. Safe even for neonates, infants and children.

Duration of treatment

Apply Sisairosp oil continuously for six weeks. Repeat application for a further six weeks if necessary. Do not stop usage in case of aggravation during two to four weeks of treatment. Apply oil once in a week to prevent relapses & recurrence.

Diet Recommendation

High protein vegetarian diet like pulses, peas etc. are ideal. Avoid excess spices, bitter and sour food items. Non vegetarian/ seafood and food high in fat are to be avoided.

• Avoid dryness of the skin and use plenty of oil and oil based / moisturizing preparations for the skin
• Avoid cold climates and extremes of climate
• Advisable to expose to good amount of Sun light and prefer seaside areas with bright Sunlight and develop outdoor activities
• Avoid alcohol
• Avoid smoking
• Avoid applying irritant substances as they can precipitate new lesions
• Avoid stressful conditions and develop / practice a stress free life
• Contact with skin of synthetic substances like cloths, footwear etc. are to be avoided. Use of cotton cloths is recommended.
